This is done by steaming the beans at high temperatures to remove the caffeine or by using a water-based process to extract the caffeine. . Decaffeinated coffee still contains some caffeine, but usually only about 2-12 milligrams per cup, compared to 95-200 milligrams in a regular cup of coffee.
